I work with charities, community groups, arts organisations and public-sector partners to document projects, programmes and the people involved in them.

Using a natural, observational approach, I capture participation, relationships, activity and the wider context of a project as it develops — creating photography that communicates not simply what happened, but why it mattered.

Images can support evaluation and reporting alongside communications, funding applications, advocacy, websites and social media, providing organisations with an engaging and versatile visual record of their work.

For longer-term projects, I can document activity across different stages, building a richer visual story of participation, development and impact over time.

Clients: Science Ceilidh

Commission by Science Ceilidh and the Community Knowledge Matters network to document their In-Person Gathering at Wasps Creative Academy.

My brief was to capture key moments during the event which saw individuals and organisations across the Highlands and Islands gather together to share ideas about mental wellbeing research within their communities.

The images supported Science Ceilidh’s social media activity and impact reporting for their key funders, including The Ideas Fund.

 

Commission: Documentation of The Space Between Creative Learning Exchange. Findhorn. September 2025.

Client: Findhorn Bay Arts

Supporting Findhorn Bay Arts with photography at The Space Between, a learning exchange bringing together third sector and cultural organisations from across Scotland.

I was commissioned to provide photographs that showcased people, collaboration and creativity. The learning exchange was attended by participants from across Scotland, including Dance North, Articulation Arts, Kinetika, Growing2gether, The Stove Network and others.

These images and a short highlights film were used across Findhorn Bay Arts’ social media channels.
