Portraits | People

I create natural, characterful portraits of people at work, at home and in the places that matter to them.

My approach is relaxed and observational, combining considered portraiture with candid moments to create images that feel genuine rather than overly staged.

I work with individuals, organisations and businesses across the arts, third sector, hospitality and creative industries, producing photography for websites, campaigns, editorial, PR and social media.

Let’s work together. Get in touch.

Case Study: Moray School of Arts. Final Year Students. 2024

Commission by UHI Moray and Moray School of Arts to capture portraits of the graduating BA Hons Fine Art students. The images were used across social media and for their final year show catalogue.

Case Study: Community Led Local Development in Moray. 2022-23.

Commission by tsiMORAY to support the impact reporting of Moray Local Action Group.

Through interviews and portraits, I captured the voices of those in Moray who are committed to making community led local development a reality, helping to tackle the climate crisis and support a just transition to a carbon neutral future.

These images formed the foundation of a website I subsequently developed for the group, which puts people, place and social networks at the forefront of its communication strategy.

Case Study: Scotland’s Year of Coasts and Waters. Nairn. 2021-22

A project exploring how Nairn’s natural coastal environment helped the local community cope with the Covid-19 outbreak.
